Ceol Phádraig: Music at St Patrick's College Drumcondra, 1875-2016 (Oxford: Peter Lang) which takes place on Wednesday 20 November at the Teachers' Club, Parnell Square, Dublin at 6.30pm. Edited by John Buckley and John O'Flynn, this peer-reviewed volume will be launched by historian and educationalist Dr Pauric Travers, former President of St Patrick's College (1999-2012) and current Chair of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, and of the Educational Research Centre, Drumcondra.

Ceol Phádraig examines various aspects of musical life at St Patrick's College over its 140-year history until it was incorporated into Dublin City University in 2016. With chapter contributions by Daithí Ó Corráin, John Buckley, Rhona Clarke, Patricia Flynn, Teresa O'Donnell, John O'Flynn, Yvonne Higgins and Áine Mangaoang, the book additionally features graduate perspectives of St Patrick's/DCU alumni Miriam O'Sullivan, Gavan Ring, Conall Ó Breacháin, Paul Gilgunn, Colman Pearce and Denise Ann Morgan, and an extended afterword by Niall Doyle, Head of Music at The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon.
